The Catholic University of America will continue full in-person instruction, residential life, and athletics for the spring semester of 2022 to the greatest extent possible while continuing to make the safety of our community our highest priority.

The high rate of voluntary vaccination in our community, ongoing health-and-safety measures, and the expected behaviors defined in the Shared Community Responsibilities notice (PDF) are all aimed at keeping Catholic University safe and healthy in the new academic year.

What the Office of the Dean of Students Does

The Office of the Dean of Student (DOS) provides several services to students. DOS services include:

  • Assisting students in adjusting to university life and providing support with academic, personal, or social issues and concerns.
  • Providing support in the event of a personal, medical, or family emergency (including temporary injuries).
  • Discussing and answering questions about university policies, procedures, and services and directing students to appropriate campus resources. Click here for Policies and Procedures.
